Mainland UK Delivery Overview
Your business is extremely important to us and if you're not happy then we're not happy. We are therefore very selective about who we use to do our deliveries for us and we are fanatical about making sure that everything arrives in good time and in excellent condition.
For UK deliveries we use 3 main shipping services, Royal Mail, UPS and TNT. For international deliveries we generally stick to UPS and TNT, but we may choose to use an alternative trusted courier if they can offer a particularly good local service. These methods work extremely well for us and problems are very rare indeed.
Parcels are generally delivered between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday and most of the larger or higher value items will require a signature. For Mainland UK orders you can request a different delivery address to your registered card address, such as your place of work. This option is available during the checkout process.
This website is an online catalogue of items that we can supply and for logistical reasons we can not always hold stock of every single item in every possible variant. Items are also sold via numerous other channels so it is not always possible for this website to accurately reflect the true stock position at all times. Therefore, some items we advertise will be in stock and some may need to be requested from the central warehouse. If your order is extremely time-critical then please make us aware of this before you place your order so that we can all be sure that expectations can be met.
We set our target at 2-3 working days for your items to be with you within mainland UK, but we work extremely hard to try and better this whenever possible and in stock items should arrive next day is ordered before 13:00. Export to other countries outside of the UK can take longer and this is out of our control. Delivery times are based on working days so please remember to allow for Bank Holidays and weekends when working out ETAs.
In the unlikely event that there is a problem fulfilling your order then we will contact you straight away to discuss a solution. If for any reason an item that you ordered cannot be sent to you then we will always try and offer you a very closely matched item as an alternative. If this is the case then you can either accept our suggested alternative, or request a full refund. The choice is entirely yours.
Sadly, transport costs have risen so sharply in recent years that it is no longer financially viable for us to offer free delivery. However, the vast majority of our customers tell us that they are happy to pay our modest shipping charges knowing that their orders are in the safe hands of the major courier firms such as UPS and TNT. Rest assured that we do everything we can to keep our shipping costs as low as possible and we do not seek to profit from our delivery service. We only add the basic price that we ourselves get charged.
If there is noone there to accept your delivery on the first attempt then you will be left a calling card by the Courier and they will re-attempt delivery the next working day free of charge. Alternatively, you can collect the parcel yourself by visiting the local depot as stated on the calling card (remember to take the necessary I.D. with you as described on the calling card). Some will also leave you a card to fill out authorising them to leave your parcel somewhere safe such as a porch or garage without obtaining a signature.
The Couriers that we use are all excellent and delivery problems are extremely rare, but it is still important that your goods are inspected before being signed for as no damage in transit claim can be made once a product has been signed for as being in good condition. Please therefore ensure that you unpack your products and inspect them carefully wherever possible. If this is not practical then please sign for the goods as being "Unchecked". We cannot offer compensation for items that have not been inspected properly but have been accepted by way of a signature. If there is obvious damage, please refuse to accept them and contact us immediately.
Delivery to destinations outside of Mainland UK is usually not a problem, but you must contact us before you place your order so that we can provide you with a shipping quote. Simply email us and let us know exactly what you want to order and the full destination address and we will be able to give you the cheapest possible quote ASAP. Delivery to ALL AREAS OUTSIDE OF MAINLAND UK will invariably carry a surcharge so it is essential that you contact us for a shipping quote before you purchase anything on the website.
Please note that in some extreme cases direct delivery is not physically possible, but if this is the case then we are happy to deliver to an alternative Mainland UK address instead for you to collect from or make your own arrangements from there.
Make an Ad-Hoc Payment
To make an ad-hoc payment simply click the "Add to Basket" button below which will add £1 to your shopping basket. When you arrive at the shopping basket simply update the "Quantity" field as appropriate i.e. if you wish to pay £50 then update the "Quantity" field to 50 and click "Update". The "Item Total" field in the shopping basket should now be the correct amount. When you are happy simply check out in the usual way.
